Want a weekend away, but something a little different? Then book a special weekend away in the Netherlands at Marina Parcs. What exactly is so special about it, do you think? Firstly, you will spend the night in an accommodation located on one of the marinas in or in the vicinity of Amsterdam. Moreover, all our accommodations are located by or even on the water, talk about special overnight stay! You can spend a romantic night with us as a couple, but we also offer suitable accommodation for a larger group, up to 7 people. Due to the proximity of our capital, but also other nice trips in the area, you will not be bored for a single moment during your special weekend away.

A special weekend away in the Netherlands
Are you going away for a special weekend as a couple? Then you can opt for glamping, for example, where you spend the night in a 2-person safari tent. Or spend the night in a cozy water bubble (on the water!) or in a unique tiny wagon. In these accommodations you have little or no private facilities, and you can use the general facilities of the marina. You can also experience a special weekend away in the Netherlands with a larger group. For example, you can stay on a houseboat with a maximum of 7 people. What to do during a special weekend away?
You have found the perfect accommodation in one of our marinas for a special weekend away. Naturally, you are also curious about things to do in the area. We will give you 3 tips for a complete and unique weekend!
1. Visit a city
During your special weekend away you will be staying a short distance from Amsterdam. A visit to this city should therefore not be missed. Go shopping, visit one of the many museums, walk along the iconic canals or take a cruise. Not only Amsterdam is nearby, but also think of Haarlem, Zaandam, Amersfoort or Utrecht.
2. Activities on the water
This should of course not be missing if you are celebrating holidays by the water. With the IJmeer, Markermeer and many other lakes in the area, a boat trip will be easy to make. You can simply rent a boat in the marina. Many marinas also have facilities for various other water sports. What is your favorite water activity?
3. Discover Fort Island Pampus
This historic island is located in the middle of the IJmeer and has a history that goes back 400 years in time. A great outing for both young and old during a special weekend away in the Netherlands. Embark on an adventure and follow the interactive experience route through the fortress. Great to combine with a boat trip on the IJmeer!
